- A Sound Mind in a Sound Body
|
|
We expect you have all now seen the Asics TV commercial and that their motto is 'A Sound Mind in a Sound Body'. Our suggestion is that the new Autumn / Winter range will help provide a 'Sound Body' with exceptional comfort and high performance.
And perhaps the lure of a £10 discount off any pair of Asics running shoes in the new range (i.e. not already reduced) will help provide a 'Sound Mind'. Or perhaps our FREE Delivery, Returns & Exchange can simply offer complete 'Peace of Mind'.
So why not take advantage and get running this summer in a new pair of Asics. Just use promo code NLJUN1110B at checkout to save £10 before Sunday 12th June and you can join the Asics church of running too.

- A Busy Day for Runners
|
 |
We predict that Sunday 25th September will see more runners compete in half marathons than on any other day in history, at least in the UK. There are 6 half marathons known to us taking place on this day, here are some highlights:
Windsor Half Marathon - a very scenic, popular but slightly hilly course set in the place where the Queen lives (must be good). Also handy for Heathrow.
Run to the Beat - otherwise known as the London half marathon set in the same streets as the marathon itself and starting and finishing at the O2 arena.
New Forest - where else can you see wild horses whilst out running? And with the option to run the full 26.2 if you so choose. We are saving ourselves for 2012.
Macclesfield Half - an event that is commended for it's organisation and goody bags. Looks like times are less impressive on a hilly course!
Dumfries Half Marathon - head to Scotland for a great race hosted by the local running club but this is only a small exclusive field of 300 so get your entry in soon!
